T1 Version 2.5
T1 Version 2.5
Better Surface Finish
The Front, Top, and Bottom Panels have been upgraded to a finer sandblasting and smoother surface finish, matching flagship products from the smartphone industry. This superior finish is a result of our newly upgraded supply chain, adding to a more premium aesthetic and tactile experience.
The GPU, Power Supply, and Fan Brackets surface is more scratch-resistant.
Easier Flatpack Assembly
The types of screws needed for assembly are minimized. Assembly screws are now visually different from each other, making it easier to identify for assembly.
The Power Button is now assembled into the Front Panel for faster enclosure assembly. Rear Panel, Motherboard IO, and GPU Brackets are also prebuilt for easier enclosure assembly.
Better Structural Rigidity
Increased thickness for the Top and Side Struts improved rigidity for the enclosure, power supply, and motherboard installation. Note: The Side Strut's increased thickness is incompatible with older versions.
Better PCIe Riser Cable
The PCIe Riser Cable has been upgraded to a design meant for servers, offering enhanced reliability and installation flexibility. Additionally, the color has been updated to black.
Aluminum Mesh Side Panels Is Standard
The Mesh Side Panel material changed from steel to aluminum. Aluminum is a gentler material that helps prevent damage to the aluminum Front and Rear Panels during regular use.
Overview | FormD and the T1 project originated as an R&D venture in manufacturing utilizing NCASE resources. The T1 enclosure is now integrated into the NCASE portfolio. The T1 Sandwich Kit is a redesigned and refined version of the FormD T1 by NCASE. The sandwich configuration enhances graphics card compatibility while maintaining a compact enclosure volume. Unlocking the full potential of this configuration makes it ideal for tinkers and power users interested in pushing the limits. |

- Aluminum Mesh Side Panels Is Standard
- The Mesh Side Panel material changed from steel to aluminum. Aluminum is a gentler material that helps prevent damage to the aluminum Front and Rear Panels during regular use.
V2.1 Updates:
- Front Panel
- Only the Sandwich Kit benefits from this change. Two extra screw holes are added for V2.1 Side Fan + Radiator Bracket Brace. This feature is added for dual radiator builds where the second radiator is mounted to the GPU side.
- Front Panel Screw Bar SW
- This part is only included in the Sandwich Kit. The Power Supply Bracket mounting holes on this bar are now threaded. This allows the SFX Bracket to install more securely.
- Rear Panel SW
- This part is only included in the Sandwich Kit. The Rear Panel M19 holes are now through-holes, no longer threaded.
- SFX Power Supply Bracket
- Added slotted holes for more mounting options.
- GPU Lock Brackets
- This part is only included in the Sandwich Kit. The GPU Lock Bars from V2.0 have been replaced with GPU Lock Brackets. These brackets allow better GPU cable (DP, HDMI) clearance than the old bars.
- PCIe Riser Bar
- This part is only included in the Sandwich Kit. Two threaded holes are added to support more PCIe Riser Cables.
