About Us

Since 2014, NCASE has focused on precision-built Small Form Factor (SFF) cases that balance performance, portability, and simplicity.

Each product reflects a larger idea — that the desktop can be a complete ecosystem of thoughtful design, where form and function quietly align.

Optimization & Efficiency

Guided by curiosity and craft, optimization and efficiency shape every design decision at NCASE.

We create Small Form Factor–inspired solutions that blend durability, elegance, and functionality — proving that compact engineering can deliver full-sized performance without compromise.

Rooted in space efficiency and thermal balance, our philosophy is simple: size is a matter of intent, not limitation.

Each generation brings us closer to a unified desktop ecosystem where precision and design exist in harmony.

Our Journey

A decade of refined design and precision craft — shaping the modern desktop experience.

2013 — Where it all began

What began as a single post on [H]ardForum became the start of something larger. W360’s question — could true performance fit into a smaller form — inspired a movement that would reshape the SFF landscape.

2014 — The Birth of NCASE

With the support of the community and crowdfunding, the M1 Classic was born.

NCASE was officially founded, and the M Series quickly became the benchmark for indie SFF design — proving that big ideas can thrive in small, space-optimized forms.

2018 — Reviving a Vision

The Sidearm concept resurfaced, reviving an idea first explored five years earlier.

What began as an experiment evolved into FormD — an independent effort to push small form factor design to new extremes.

2020 — Breaking New Ground

March marked the launch of the FormD Works website and the debut of the FormD T1 V1.0 — a breakthrough sandwich-layout design that redefined modularity and CNC precision in the SFF world.

With updates like V1.1, the T Series quickly became a community favorite among small-form-factor builders.

2021 — A New Chapter in Craft

With the retirement of the M1 Classic, NCASE transitioned from sheet-metal fabrication to CNC precision manufacturing — advancing build quality, tolerances, and the foundation for future generations.

2022 — Revolutionizing Compact GPU Power

The T1 V2.0 answered the community’s call for more GPU power without more space.

Rebuilt from the inside out, it brought full-size GPU support and improved thermal balance — proving that true performance could still fit within the smallest form.

2024 — Refining & Reviving

T1 V2.5 refined assembly and finish, while the M2 carried forward the M1 Classic legacy in CNC form — featuring the Grater design that quickly became a community favorite for its balance of craft and performance.

2025 —  Bigger, Yet Still SFF

The M3 pushed beyond traditional SFF limits while staying true to its core design philosophy.

Supporting full-size fans, open airflow, and high-performance components, it redefined what “small” can mean — bringing larger capability to compact design.

Looking Ahead— What's Next?

Our next chapter expands beyond cases — shaping a complete desktop ecosystem that blends precision manufacturing, timeless design, and everyday usability.
