Pre-Order & Batch Production Policy
Because our cases are produced in highly specialized, small-batch manufacturing runs, our pre-order process operates differently than a standard retail store. Please read the following guidelines carefully before reserving your production slot.
1. Securing Your Order & Payment
- Upfront Payment: All pre-orders and made-to-order items are charged in full immediately at checkout. This upfront payment strictly secures your inventory allocation and commits your specific unit to our factory's production queue.
- No "Placeholder" Orders: To ensure fair access for the community—especially for limited colorways or specialized drops—we do not permit placing multiple orders with the intent to cancel. Duplicate orders suspected of being placeholders may be canceled at our discretion.
2. Timelines & Rolling Fulfillment
- Estimated Shipping Windows: The shipping dates listed on the product page (e.g., "Late May Fulfillment") are our best estimates based on current factory throughput and freight logistics.
- Rolling Batches: Production and shipping often happen in waves. If a batch is split across multiple freight shipments, your position in the fulfillment queue is strictly determined by the exact timestamp of your checkout.
- Manufacturing Realities: By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that global supply chains and manufacturing can be unpredictable. If a significant delay occurs (exceeding 30 days beyond the original estimate), we will communicate updates transparently via the product page and our community Discord/Reddit channels.
3. Cancellations & The "Production Lock"
We understand that circumstances change, but because our production is directly tied to order volume, we enforce the following cancellation rules:
- Standard Cancellation: You may cancel your pre-order for a refund before the batch enters the "Production Lock" phase. Please note that a non-refundable 5% transaction fee (retained by our payment processor) will be deducted from your refund.
- Production Lock-In: Once factory manufacturing commences and materials are cut (typically 7 to 14 days after a pre-order window opens), your order is locked.
- Late Cancellations: If you must cancel an order after the Production Lock but before the item ships, a 15% Early Exit Fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the administrative overhead and the cost of the re-allocated inventory.
4. Shipping Address Modifications
Because pre-orders have extended lead times, you may need to update your shipping address while waiting for your chassis.
- Updating Your Info: You may contact Support to update your shipping address at any point during the pre-order wait.
- The Cut-Off: Address changes are permitted up until your order status changes to "Shipping Label Generated" or "Preparing for Shipment." Once processing begins at the warehouse, the address is locked and cannot be intercepted or changed.
5. Mixed Carts (Pre-Order + In-Stock Items)
- If your cart includes both an in-stock item (such as accessories or cables) and a pre-order chassis, the entire order will be held and shipped together once the pre-order item is finished.
- If you need the in-stock components immediately, you must place two completely separate orders.
6. Component Substitutions & Manufacturing Tolerances
- Supply Chain Substitutions: To prevent severe production bottlenecks, we reserve the right to make minor mid-production adjustments to internal, non-visible hardware (such as specific screw finishes or internal bracket coatings) if certain components face sudden supply chain shortages. These adjustments will never compromise the core functionality, thermal performance, or external aesthetic of your case.
- Manufacturing Tolerances: Due to the complex CNC machining and anodizing processes involved in our small-batch manufacturing, minor variations may occur. Slight color discrepancies between different production batches, or minor tooling marks on internal/non-visible surfaces, are considered acceptable manufacturing tolerances and do not qualify as structural defects for refunds or replacements.
7. Non-Transferable Orders
- Pre-orders are strictly tied to the original purchaser. We do not facilitate or recognize the private sale, transfer, or "scalping" of pre-order slots. All updates, address changes, and warranty services will only be processed when initiated by the original purchasing email address.
8. Governing Terms & Order of Precedence
- This Pre-Order Policy is a binding addendum to our standard Terms & Conditions. For any matters not explicitly covered here (such as warranty, liability, and customs duties), our standard terms will strictly apply. However, in the event of any direct conflict between standard policies and this page (especially regarding shipping timelines, cancellations, and refund fees), this Pre-Order Policy shall unconditionally take precedence for all batch and made-to-order purchases.
