The Skyreach 5 MINI (S5M) represents a highly focused division of expertise: NFC’s console-style architecture, modernized and manufactured through NCASE’s industry-leading CNC machining and surfacing capabilities.

A Synergy of SFF Design and CNC Machining
The S5M continues the Skyreach lineage, with NFC leading the core chassis design, aesthetics, and thermal layout. To execute this vision without compromise—just like the previous S4M—NFC partnered with NCASE.
We stepped in to do what we do best: adapting design for manufacturing, scaling high-tolerance CNC machining, and material engineering. By leveraging NCASE's new CNC factory and supply chain expertise, we are able to physically manifest NFC's design at scale. This partnership ensures the S5M retains its boutique, enthusiast-driven soul while benefiting from the manufacturing precision and scalability NCASE is known for.
Architecture: Designed by NFC
The shift toward blow-through GPU coolers demands a completely new approach to console-style PC cases. NFC designed the S5M’s internal layout from the ground up to solve this:
- Directional Exhaust: The layout is optimized specifically for modern blow-through GPUs, ensuring exhaust is efficiently evacuated from the chassis rather than trapped against the center spine.
- Zero Recirculation: Carefully mapped airflow pathways eliminate thermal recirculation, allowing high-tier hardware to sustain boost clocks in a 10L volume.
- Logical Assembly: NFC refined the internal Mini-ITX frame to ensure the build process is intuitive, stripping away the frustrating assembly sequences typical of ultra-compact chassis.

An enclosure designed to be an art piece requires manufacturing tolerances that border on the obsessive. This is exactly where NCASE’s production expertise dictates the final physical product.
- Precision CNC Manufacturing: Every structural component is CNC machined to exact specifications. We utilized high-grade materials to ensure structural rigidity and a premium, monolithic feel that stamped steel simply cannot replicate.
- The Swappable Bezel System: To support long-term personalization and future hardware compatibility, the S5M utilizes an interchangeable bezel system. NCASE’s machining ensures these modular components fit flawlessly, maintaining the case's seamless aesthetic across different materials and configurations.
